Meaning Bandname: What better way to find peace after a scrutinizing day of work than to make a lot of raw noise with your friends? This is our way of meditation.

Bio: Meditation, hailing from the heart of Groningen, forge a raw, unapologetic path through the realms of hardcore, powerviolence, death metal, and beyond. The different musical backgrounds of the band members allow them to both embrace and transcend genre conventions, creating a sound that’s equally loose and tightly structured. Above all, Meditation is a force of unadulterated energy so catch them live for a full embodiment of the band’s intensity.

Description: Meditation is inspired by repeated listening to a lot of hardcore, punk, death metal, powerviolence and 80s hit classics.
