(Zwolle, 1996-2003)

Meaning Bandname: No real meaning, more a word joke. The Dutch word ´lomp´ means something like coarse or crude, and we wrote it with a b a the end…..

Bio: The band started as a melodic punkrock band by Jasper, Gerhard, Rutger and Marc. In 2000 Marc left the band and Bart replaced him. The band was in a phase that they wanted to play more fast and loud and less melodic so the style became more thrashy. The band rehearsed mostly at Popfront, Zwolle. The band wrote their own songs but did the occasional cover as well. One of Minor Threat and later also recorded BGK and Heresy covers. The Useless CDr was mastered by someone we knew and he did quite a bad job. The sound became weird and a piece of a song was cut out. In 2002 and 2003 there were short tours done with SAF and Ekkaia. At the end of 2003 the band stopped after Bart left. In 2004 Bart and Jasper formed a new band called Jobcrusher and continued playing together until 2008. There was one reunion gig at the final show of SAF in the ACU, Utrecht 2008. This was in the same line up.
