Cheap ‘n’ Nasty, Moral Demolition, Bananas, Alerta @ Volkswil Café, Turnhout BEL 23 October 1982

Herman de Tollenaere: These are photos of the concert in Turnhout, Belgium on 23 October 1982, at a local peace movement event, preparing for a big anti-nuclear weapons march in Brussels. Thanks for the photos, Jack Kenis! Cheap ‘n’ Nasty left to right: Heleen Schönau, bass and some vocals, Marco Sterke, guitar, Herman, with Siouxsie Sioux badge on, vocals and toy saxophone. Pim Gordijn hidden behind the drums. Alerta from Deventer, the Netherlands, Moral Demolition from Turnhout and Bananas from Turnhout played as well. The amp on the right of the stage, as seen from the audience, is Alerta’s amp. The concert was in the old Volkswil café, Stationsstraat. I don’t clearly remember how we and the other bands played. I picked up this copy of the local Religieus Bloedblad fanzine.
