History:
Welvaartsstaat is an initiative of Peter Luining (aka Slonz) and Chris Smit (Chops). The label releases mostly limited tapes of own bands in the early 80’s. After other bands ask for release, they put out two compilation tapes that give a good view of the alternative scene from that moment. After the Nieuws Uit Nergensoord tape, Peter Luining moves to Amsterdam where he releases a couple of tapes from local bands.
