(Groningen, 1987 – 1989)

Bio: In 1987 three drummers and a guitarplayer form MBD and play a mix of metal and hardcore. After the first concert Jan is replaced by Paul. After a year of hard practise the style became more melodic. The name got changed into Mission To Katmandu and short after it becomes Metal Hippies. In 1989 are 2 concerts in the ORKZ and Simplon. The band breaks up after the 2nd concert.
