(1987 – 1988)

Meaning bandname: The means of coercion that exist in society towards the individual and between individuals. Later on the lyrics became more personal and we thought Means To An End to be finer and more appropriate.

History: Started in autumn 1987 and played the first concert in January 1988. During the summer of 1988, Peter went to live in the USA and is replaced by Stefan and the name changes to Means To An End.

Lyrics: At first critical about vegetarism, politics, etc. Later on more personal about emotional problems.

Description: Fast simple hardcore with metal-influences.
