(1982 – 1984)

Meaning Bandname: Michele invents the name. First it was Dandies but it eventually became Haemorrhoidz to shock.

Bio: From Amsterdam. Formed by friends on highschool. Do their first gig in Marcanti, probably organised by their school. First rehearse in the musicroom of the school called Fons Vitae, a seperated building on the schoolyard. Then in a old warehouse from a father of someone from school who also rehearsed there with a band. After half a year, Michele emigrates to Italy and gets replaced by Daniël. They start to rehearse in the house of the mother of Daniël in the Vondelstraat. He rehearsed there with a reggae and funkband as well and played timpali on the conservatory. The manager of B.G.K., Wouter van der Brug asks the band to be on the Als Je Haar Maar Goed Zit… Nr. 2 LP and concerts are played with B.G.K. The band stops because of study and work.

Description: 70’s Britpunk with one cover: Circle Jerks “Beverly Hills”. Later, Hardcorepunk.
