(1987 – 1993)
Bio: From Groningen and Dwingelo. Abbreviation for Bring Your Own Beer. After a year covering Ramones, D.R.I. and G.B.H., they start to make own songs. Influenced by various styles and bands such as Godflesh, Carcass, Terrorizer and Slayer, they develop their own sound. Through the years the songs become more complex and heavy, but without any lack of energy and aggression. In 1989 they win the Prijs Van Drenthe contest and can finance their first 12″ EP. After some memberchanges (Henry Sattler of God Dethroned joins), they change their name into Ministry Of Terror and start playing deathmetal.
