(Naaldwijk, 1977-1981)

Meaning Bandname: The name was thought up by Wilco after seeing a documentary on the BBC.

Bio: The band was formed by Wilco and Harry in Naaldwijk. The rehearsalroom was a gardener’s shed in Naaldwijk (Van Koppen on the Van Koppenweg, via the choir of the Catholic church in Naaldwijk). Own song were mostly made by Wilco and Harry. Often after improvisations in the rehearsalroom. The first demo was recorded in the Flatertheek in Naaldwijk. The band stops when Harry left for South America for a longer period of time.
