Meaning Bandname: The name Juno’s Valley originated from the idea that music and lyrics can have a different meaning for everyone, depending on who is listening. That principle was linked to the story of Godess Juno and her temple, which, according to tradition, was experienced and interpreted differently from various perspectives. This idea served as the inspiration for the band name. The “valley” symbolizes a place where people come together, bring their own experiences, and can recognize themselves in the music. Juno’s Valley’s songs are often written personally, but deliberately kept open enough so that every listener can find their own story in them.

Bio: Formed by Arnout Swint and Jack Godlieb. Arnout wanted to start his own punk rock band for quite some time, but previous attempts were unsuccessful due to the inability to find the right members. After a failed attempt to set up a cover band (also due to the inability to find the right members), he decided to start a new band from scratch together with Jack, focusing on original songs, energy, and a modern punk sound. 15th January 2023 is the official start.
Lyrics are written by Arnout Swint and the music is composed mainly by Arnout Swint with arrangements that are worked out jointly within the band.
When the band was first formed, they rehearsed at Het Viadukt. Around June/July 2024, the band received an offer to rehearse in their own space at Carex, with their own key. Since then, they have been rehearsing at TRAV12 (formerly known as BackBone), the former Alfa College on Travertijnstraat.
All released music is original work and self-written. However, the repertoire does include covers: The Monkees – I’m A Believer, Ray Parker Junior – Ghostbusters, Good Charlotte – Lifestyle of the Rich & Famous, Black Sabbath – Paranoid.

Description: Juno’s Valley plays energetic modern punk rock with influences from skate punk, pop punk, and alternative rock. They are now focused on Dutch-language punk rock, which goes down well with the local fans.
