(Almelo, 1982-1986)

Meaning name: Bert and Robert were looking in a English dictionary for a name and found a more positive meaning of a regiment, not something we associate with WWII.

Bio: Four friends form the band on “Het Erasmus”, their school where they could also play some concerts (see pictures below). At one of those gigs came alot of skins and punx. The school leadership offered the band 200 guilders to stop playing because of safety. They practised on the stackyard of a barn called “De Sumpel”. A blind Danish Dog was their biggest fan. Duco and Edwin continue the band as The Regiment.
