Saturday the 4th of December 2021 will be the first-ever conference day of the Punk Scholars Network Netherlands, founded early this year.

It is also the first day of the 4-11 December worldwide conference of the Punk Scholars Network. We organise it jointly with the Denmark/Germany PSN affiliate.

Unfortunately, because of the coronavirus pandemic, we had to abandon our plan to have a face-to-face event at OCCII, Amstelveenseweg 134 1075 XL Amsterdam. We have decided to split the conference in two.

We will now have a webinar on 4 December, starting at 2pm Central European Time about Punk and (DIY) venues only. But with keynote speakers, a film, a panel discussion and hopefully a livestream (punk band) from a DIY location.

The women in the bands, women in the panels, and all other participants deserve a full face-to-face day in spring 2022 in OCCII, about the main theme Women in punk. A theme too important for a 4 December online webinar. We are looking for a date in spring with hopefully less COVID-19 than now. So, stay posted.

See below for the full program of our mini conference/webinar.
